I have a problem with broadband wireless card. I have a wireless access point in my apartment and I connect to internet through it. The problem is that wireless connection is showing that I am sending packets but I can not receive any. I have Windows XP Professional installed on this laptop. Can you tell me what is wrong here?

You can try several things. Set wireless card in mixed mode (to receive B and G signals). Check encryption settings. If they do not match on both sides of network then no connection will be established. Check your wireless card on some other network that works for sure and see how it will behave on that network. These steps will, at least, dismiss some possibilities about what caused broadband wireless card problem.
