Hello. I do not know almost anything about Access but I was given an assignment to create a simple database in Access. I would really appreciate if you could explain to me basic procedure for creating database in Access. It is important for me just to start and then I will try to figure out rest. Thank you in advance.

Hello. Basic database creating process in access is not complicated. Open Access and click “New”. Choose “Blank database” and save it under some name. Now you will see window with several options. You can create table with Wizard (I do not recommend this unless your table is for some common purpose like contacts), by entering data and in design view. Third option is the best because you can define fields just the way you want. This would be all regarding basic steps for creating database in Access.
