Hello people. What is with this ad.yieldmanager.com? This is an annoying, boring and impolite place on web. I waste awfully lot of time trying to load web pages that I want. And this ad.yieldmanager.com thing is consuming my connection to show me the things I wouldn’t ask for, even if it was the last thing I could ask. Does anyone have such a problem? Do I need a better spy/adware remover or it entire web problem?

Hi. I think this is a global web problem, only I am not sure whether the source is on your computer or not. Maybe you try to get some additional tools to detect if something nested on the side of your PC, Spybot, Adaware, HijackThis… And, maybe, change your browser. And, one more solution that I found on net, seems interesting; you need to add an entry in your
HOSTS file (assuming that you’re running W2K or XP). Open the file C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC\HOSTS (or LMHOSTS) and type in following line:
127.0.0.1 ad.yieldmanager.com I don’t know if this work, it looks like the hosts file is set to redirect ad.yieldmanager.com to a local machine so browser wouldn’t search for it over net. But it seems no use if your connection is not set to use hosts file, but does obtain DNS addresses automatically from server. Maybe it is worth trying.
