I'm using a standard USB headset by Logitech, and trying to record a Skype conversation using Audio Hijack, following instructions given in a forum topic (now defunct)… and it doesn't work. What happens is I record only my own voice (not exactly what I need), and get nothing from the incoming voice. I know that the Logitech headset works with Skype/Audio Hijack because a friend's got the exact same hardware/software and it's OK for him, it's just that it doesn't work that way for me, I don't know why. What am I doing wrong?

Obviously, you and your friend don't have the same configuration settings. Did he also set his software following that "forum advice" that you did? You did try, I assume, copying the exact settings that he has? Anyway, my advice, on the other hand, would be to use Wire Tap Pro instead of AH. IMX, much more useful and reliable. Also cheaper. Everybody's a winner.
