hello! I have a problem with my .avi files. Namely, when I point with my mouse some .avi file, my Windows Explorer crashes. I really do not know why this is happening. I have tried with reinstallation of my Windows XP Pro SP2 operating system, but, believe it or not, that did not solve this problem. Please, help!

Hello! That is bug which you can solve if you change some registry keys. I will tell you what to do step by step, but if you are not sure how to do it, ask someone who has experience with changing registry. Ok? Do following: click start Run type: regedit click Ok find HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\ if there is key DivX delete it go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SystemFileAssociations\.avi\shellex\ if there is key PropertyHandler delete value. After you do this, your problem will vanish.
