Zone Alarm freezes P2P programs

I have noticed that Zone Alarm is freezing P2P programs. I have tried different P2P program (e mule, Azureus, LimeWire) and the result is same. After some time (few hours) P2P program freezes. This was not happening when I had other firewall installed on my computer. I am sure that I have configured Zone Alarm properly. Do you know what the problem is here?

Do not worry. You are not alone with this problem. Many users have experienced similar problems including memory leaking from Zone Alarm. What is strange here is explanation from Zone Labs. They say that Zone Alarm is not designed to run all day along but it is designed for workstation computer that shuts down at least once a day. So, they do not think this is a problem. If you are a heavy downloader then avoid Zone Alarm and find some decent firewall software.
