I have ZoneAlarm installed on my system and it is making a trouble with Lynksys router. When I try to access router configuration utility by entering 192.168.1.1 in browser address bar I can see only some messed up pictures. When I shut down ZoneAlarm everything works fine. I do not understand where the problem lies because I have added whole range of IP addresses in ZoneAlarm trusted zone (from 192.168.1.0 to 192.168.255.255) and it should allow access to router.

The problem lies in your IP address range. As far as I know IP address of the router is 192.168.1.1 therefore you have placed a completely different IP address range in trusted zone of ZOneAlarm. This IP range should be 192.168.1.1 - 192.168.1.255. Now you will have access to router configuration. Nevermind that ZoneAlarm was not guilty party this time but it will make you trouble in the future, believe me. I would install some less troublesome firewall.
