| I heard about lot of linux distributions: Mandriva, Knoppix, Ubintu, SuSe, Redhat, PC Linux, etc. Everybody talks about how linux is cool. I do not want to be cool, but I want to learn how to work in this operating system. Could you please tell me what is your opinion about this? Which linux distribution is your favorite one? |

| Well, I know that now days are very popular to have a linux distribution on your computer. A lot of people just install it and never use it, but, as you said, they are so cool. If you really want to learn linux thats great! I prefer Ubuntu, but I recommend you PC Linux distro. PC linux is very easy to use and its just great for beginners. When you learn basics about linux with PC linux, then you should try other distros. After that youll have your opinion which one is the best. |
