I am using a University server to connect to the internet but the university blocked using webcam. After I’ve consulted some other students here I think that this problem might be solved by using a proxy internet connection. Can anyone here recommend one or perhaps give me a better solution to this problem. Thanks in advance in my and my fellow students name!

It’s really strange that they would allow you to install yahoo messenger but then you can’t use webcam. Finding a proxy is not that hard, I’ll list just a few sources here: publicproxyservers.com, myproxies.dl.am, and checker.freeproxy.ru. Anyway, I’m not sure that your University server will allow using proxy. I hope that trying it won’t get you into some kind of trouble.
