Yahoo IM shortcut not working

Hello. I am using Yahoo Instant Messenger and I have a problem. Namely, Yahoo IM shortcut not working. I am not too familiar with software field. I am standard user of computer: I know to use programs, but not to fix them if they are broken. I hope you will tell me how to fix this. Thank you!

Hello! I suggest you to check first if personal firewall or antivirus or some other security programs block your Yahoo Instant Messenger. Maybe these programs see Yahoo Instant Messenger as treat. But, if this is not case, I suggest you to scan your system because could be that your system is infected with some malware.
