Hello. I hope some of you have experience with Xbox so I will get answer pretty fast. I’m trying to connect Xbox to existing network at my home. I guess I have routing problem because I can see computers in my home but I’m unable to connect to Internet from it. I’m not too experienced with setting up a router so instructions would be nice.

If you are expecting any serious help you should have wrote your router model. Because setting up router differs from one to another model al even more from one to another manufacturer. Basically I could have given some instructions and hope that you will be able to find where to set that up but that didn’t result with anything good in past so I’ll wont.

You should tell him what to try. And then if that doesn’t work you could lead him step by step. Meh… it’s your decision after all. I will try to help you. Check if maybe firewall on your router is blocking Xbox from accessing outside world. And this is just a thought but I heard that some ISP are blocking Xbox connections to Internet.

Woopsie, I made a mistake. I thought I wrote what my router is D-Link DSL-524T/EU. I’m not that inexperienced that I would need step by step instructions but few pointers would be nice. I found firewall page on router but it seems like it is completely disabled. I’m pretty sure that ISP is not problem cause my neighbor is using the same and has no problem at all.
