I have placed another hard drive in my computer. When I booted Windows I could not find hard drive in My computer. Also, there is no hard drive in device manager. I thought that hard drive is not working properly and placed it in my friend's computer and it worked perfectly. Can you give me some advice regarding this problem?

First of all check you jumper settings if your hard drive is IDE. If your first and second drive on IDE cable has same jumper settings (both hard drives are set as master or as slave) then your second hard drive will not be recognized. Also, there is a possibility that connector on IDE cable is not working correctly so you should try to connect both hard drives with new IDE cable.
