| I want to install XP, but it is now recognizing HDD partition. The hard disk drive and all the optical drives are connected correctly. When I want to install the XP, on the partitions selection screen, I choose the C partition. Then I get some message with the text saying that the XP cant find the compatible selection. After that it says me to return to the previous screen, and to choose another partition. Did I miss something in the BIOS regarding HDD? |

| This sounds like the problem with the NTFS issue. You must format the C partition in the NTFS format. The easiest way is to take out the HDD, place the jumper in the Slave position. Then, take the HDD to a friend of yours, connect it with his computer, and open the Computer Management. In disk management section, format the partition in NTFS after you have created new partitions. After this, just return the jumper to its original position, and boot the install CD, and try to install XP, again. |
