I have added new computer with Windows Vista operating system to my home network. Also, new printer is added to this computer (I have checked carefully to buy a printer with full Windows Vista support) and I have shared this printer. Other computers in network are running Windows XP Professional operating systems. The problem is that Windows XP computers cannot see home network shared printer. Can you give me some suggestion?
Hello. Several things are changed in Vista considering networking. Some of the issues can happen because of improper drivers for network equipment. Consider that drivers are different for XP and Vista. If you can see Vista computer from XP computers then problem is, probably, with drivers. Install manually correct printer drivers for XP on every XP computer and see what happens.
