I think the Service Pack update screwed up the connections on my LAN. Ever since I installed SP 2, I'm having difficulties connecting to the internet from two of the machines – I need to either be logged in as admin, or log in as admin and then switch to the limited user account. If I login as user at startup, I can't connect at all. The third machine doesn't have this problem. Any ideas?

I had the exact same problem, though I don't remember if it was SP 2… I know it was some Win XP update. I guess it changed some settings or something, but it worked just as you describe. The solution was simply to reinstall my wireless network card. It recognized it just as before, but this time the connection worked OK for all accounts. I hope that works out for you, too.
