X800 XT big issue :(

Hey there! I just got this new ATI X800 XT graphic card that I’ve heard a lot of praise about but I have a problem with it. Since I’ve plugged it into my system, my screen started going yellow all of a sudden. This would last for a few moments and then it would be OK again. All the games I’ve been playing are working properly but even then I sometimes get this yellow screen. Is this caused by the video card or could it be that I’ve messed up something else while I was plugging it in? Thanks a lot for any advice you might provide!

I had the exact same problem last year but it started happening after a major cleaning took place in my apartment and all the thing including my PC were moved a couple of times. It turned out that I haven’t plugged the monitor’s power support back in properly and that whenever I’d move the case even a little bit, the contact would somehow become corrupt and the screen would go yellow. It took me about three months to realize what’s wrong – I thought it was just that my monitor is really old and I need to replace it. I hope this helps you too.
