Word 2004 problems on Mac

I am having problems with Word 2004 on Mac. It seems the LinkLetter and UndoLinkLetter are not working properly with this version of Word. I had older Mac before with older Word and everything worked fine. I have bought this Mac with preinstalled software and since than I am having problems with this feature. Do you know how to solve this?

In 2004 version Microsoft has changed some internal workings of their Office package. To clarify this, Microsoft changed how the text is copied and pasted to and from clipboard. This resulted in LinkLetter and UndoLinkLetter misbehavior. To solve this problem you will have to get recent updates for your Word version.
