| Please, help me. This will sound like a problem that is not serious, but I do have problems with it, because I have so much work to do on my computer and I can’t seem to adjust the margins on Word 2003. I’ve done the preset and there are margins on the both side of the page for 2.5cm, but when I write the letters pass this margin no matter what I do and I always have to take care and set margins manually. What to do? |

| I think that you’ve done something wrong, that’s for sure. In order to set margins, it’s best to click on Format on the toolbar. After that click on Paragraph and set the adjustment there. Enter the desired indent spacing. Say for example 0.5 points, but you can also adjust it on the ruler. I’m not an expert myself but when I don’t know how to do something, I take a Word document that already has the adjustments I need and either check out how it is set or simply erase the text from it, and type my own. I know it’s maybe not the solution, but when you’re in a hurry and don’t have whom to ask. You can also read help topics and there you’ll find how to make proper margins. |
