Word 2003 crashes

Hi! I have a really strange thing happening on my pc. I just installed office 2003. three days ago. And everything is ok except that I cannot run word and outlook at the same time. Whenever I try to start word while outlook is running it crashes very soon after I start it – the word window just disappears without any notice. Any suggestions?

Whenever you have no other solution you can try reinstalling – in your case office. There is also some kind of ‘repair’ option for windows installation so you might also try that. You didn’t mention which os you’ve got. I suppose it’s xp. And you didn’t say how much ram you’ve got – maybe running both word and outlook under xp is too much for your pc. You could also try running outlook and word in safe mode just to see what happens. If none of this helped, report the results and I’ll try to think of something else that might help you.
