I have a compaq presario 2500 with built in wireless. All of a sudden, the pc detects a very low wireless signal, always.. At first I thought it was the router placement, but my work laptop gets a fine signal much farther away in the house. Does this mean my compaq antenna is bad, disconnected or ? and, can I get a wireless usb connection, and use it, rather than built in wireless ? It's easier than taking the compaq apart, I would expect.
