| Hello. I have found some unknown, but very cheap PCI Wireless network card. IT came without drivers, but I found the match for the adapter. During the installation all went fine. But, after the reboot, my computer simply freezes, and there is nothing I can do but to reboot in the safe mode, and then when I remove drivers from the safe mode, everything works. I am 100% that I have downloaded the proper drivers. What can cause computer to freeze after drivers installation? Thanks in advance. |

| Hi there. The cause might be your “new” (old, cheap) PCI wireless card. Have you checked the surface of the card? Is it damaged somehow? Take a closer look at. There is one more thing that falls on my mind, which is actually IRQ address sharing. Some cards do require certain IRQ address range in order to work properly. PCI resources are shared for every PCI slot on the motherboard. And sometimes it happens that you must plug off your card and plug it back in to another free PCI slot. I hope you have at least two more of them free. So give your self a try there, too. |
