| If you already had the wiping hard drive problem in the past, intentionally or not, then you should make a backup copy as soon as possible. You can use Norton ghost for that. It is really efficient and fast. However, I would not recommend you to use that software if you do not have enough experience. You could do just the opposite. That software could kill your data so bad that nobody could restore those. Therefore, try to find somebody that has experience with Norton ghost and ask him to explain you the possibilities and danger. If I were you, I would do a simple copy of all the data on another external hard drive. That would be the only way that I could be sure that I copy everything I need. |
