I’ve been reading about this winstall.exe file somewhere but I don’t remember how to get rid of it and it’s apeared on my system a few days ago. I’m really not sure how it managed to crawl into my system but it’s there and it won’t go! I have both SpyBot and Ad-aware but it didn’t help me. What should I do?

Run Spybot again, let it scan and try to fix the problem and after that go to "Tools/View Report". Tick on all the checkboxes listed there except the "Do not report disabled or known legitimate items" and then click on "View Report". Choose "Export" and save the file somewhere you think it’s best (desktop perhaps). Attach that file to an email and send it to detections@spybot.info. You should also post it here for us to see it and maybe we’ll be able to offer more help.
