I have Armada 1750 computer and Windows XP that wont boot. This problem started recently. Computer starts OK, passes BIOS screen and then stops on the first screen with Windows logo and progress bar. It freezes completely and I have to restart computer. I have tried booting to safe mode but the situation is the same. Is there any help to this Windows XP installation?

Hello. These symptoms are telling me that you have some serious issues with Windows XP installation on your Armada 1750. You can try to repair Windows installation with recovery CD supplied by Compaq or by reapiring it manually from Windows XP installation CD. However, the best course of action would be to reinstall Windows from scratch.
