Windows XP not reporting the right amount of RAM

Hello! I am looking to find some help here. My computer is AMD Athlon 2700+ machine. I am using XP Sp2 OS. The question that I want to solve is next. Does anybody know why Windows XP not reporting the right amount of RAM? I am looking to find the way to see my RAM usage. Do I need some special software for that? Thanks for your opinion.

Well, you need to find some special program for that. I can suggest you for example something like Yahoo widgets. That can be useful.
