| My PC has been working very slowly recently and as one of the first things to do about it, I performed disk defragmentation. That is, I tried to perform it, because it was obviously unsuccessful. The PC is still as slow as before, and it’s really annoying. Can you tell me what I did wrong so that defragemntation went bad? Thanks in advance. |

| I don’t understand how defragmentation went bad and how you could affect it but never mind. If you think that your PC is still slow because of the fact that defragmentation went bad, I suggest you to repeat the whole procedure all over again. It’s not complicated since all you have to do is choose the partition you want to be defragmented and I think that it’s best to perform this procedure while you’re not using your PC, during the night for example. But don’t blame it if the PC is still slow after another defragmentation. Maybe it’s time to reinstall your system. So, if it fails again, back up your files and reinstall Windows. |
