Hello. I have installed Windows ME on old computer. This computer had Windows 98 SE previously and I just upgraded it to Windows ME. Now I am facing certain problems with this computer. It crashes frequently, although it worked flawlessly while Windows 98 was on it. Any suggestions regarding this? Thank you in advance!

Hi. Installing operating system over previous version is not a good idea as you have probably found out already. It is always better to do a clean install of new operating system then to update existing one. It takes only one driver to be slightly incompatible with new operating system version to cause system instability. My guess is that this is the reason behind crashing of your old computer after upgrading to Windows ME.
