I am new in chat area. I was using only MSN messenger so far. MSN messenger was already attached on my Windows system so I guess I was like most of the people being lazy to experiment. I have heard that there is new kind of release called Windows Live Messenger. I would like to find out what are the advantages of so called new model and something about its setup. Would be very grateful to get a reply .Bye!

True. Windows MSN is common chat program usually cause of reason you have already mentioned, getting it with the system and being lazy to search for other chat possibilities. For many years Msn Messenger had one flaw – you haven’t been able to send offline messages and now that problem is solved with new Windows Live Messenger. Although I must make a comment they were really moving like snail comparing to other chat programs on that matter, took them a long time to make that move. To get it visit Windows Live Messenger web site - Download Messenger and download it for free by clicking on the Get it free option. When the window pops up click Run, and with that option the installing will start as soon download is finished.( if security warning shows up click Run). After download is done the Setup Wizard will appear click Next, accept the Terms Of Use and again click Next for moving on. If you want shortcuts on your Desktop and Taskbar check the option Windows Live Messenger Shortcuts then Uncheck Windows Live Sign-In Assistant, MSN Home and Windows Live Toolbar and click Next. Now Windows Live Messenger will be installed. After you have been informed that install was successful you can click Close. Few seconds after that Messenger window will appear asking you to type your Username (hotmail e-mail address) and password and click Sign In. On the Messenger window you can skip appearance of news window by checking the option Don’t show this window when WLM starts. By clicking on the Add Contact icon and typing the hotmail addresses of your friends you can add them to your list. If by some chance you don’t get for what is which icon just hold the mouse cursor on it and for short time the explanation will appear, so many extras that this messenger is offering now won’t be a mystery for a long time anymore. The only thing I never figured out is why Microsoft pulled back the option that was really remarkable and best move that they made in all chat programs era and that is the possibility to have all your chats placed in just one window. Enjoy in your chats with your friends!
