I bought new hard drive and I installed windows 2000. But, during the installation a lot of errors occurred. I just pressed esc on key board. I went to my friend and we try to run installation CD, and there were the same errors (we hoped that was bad media, because his player works ok). We went to other friend, and everything went just fine. Im little bit confused. Does anyone know what I should do to repair it and what the problem was?

| It could be many things. Corrupted CD media is not, because worked at your second friend. You said yourself that player isnt problem, too. I suggest you to run some memory test (could be damaged RAM). If test pass, then I have solution another solution: open youre CD and on some device (an usb is ok) copy missing files and load it from usb to correct folders. Your windows will be ok. |
