Hello. I saw very fast computer interface. Pretty faster than mine is. And my PC is stronger than the computer on which start menu is acting and performing very fast. There is no delay at all! And the configuration has four times less ram memory than mine does. This is some kind of registry editor tweak, I am 100% sure about that. Anyway, how to edit the registry in order to speed up some things a little bit. For example, start menu boost or delay removal, I don’t know. Thanks in advance.

Greetings. Were you ever there? Inside the registry? I am asking this because registry editor is the hart and the soul of Windows XP. You can practically edit anything inside the registry. But also you can kill anything, so be careful. Open the registry editor by typing “regedit” inside the command prompt. When inside the registry, navigate to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop. From the right side edit the “MenuShowDelay” string. Hit enter on it, and just put number 1 instead of 400. Reboot or log off for changes to take effect.
