Hello. I am working on Windows 2000 machine from my office, and the material that I am working on, sits on the other computer connected to the same NT network. Sometimes the computer that I am working on, randomly disconnects form the network. I just cant browse anything, I am off the domain. Until I reboot the computer and try again. Than it works. Why is this happening? It is driving me insane. How to solve this? Thanks in advance.

I think that you should check the status of the browser helper service over the network domain. Type services.msc and you should be able to see and change some of the settings if you have administrator privileges. Or you can try to locate the following key inside registry editor: HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Browser\Parameters\MaintainServerList. You have three value options. No, Yes and Auto. Set the value to Auto or Yes.
