| Hello. Microsoft has stopped with the support for both of operating systems „long time a go“. I do know why. Because of windows XP and Windows 2003 server edition. When the Whistler (XP code name) appeared, I was using Windows ME, while others were using Windows 2000, claiming that was the best operating system ever. Best for what? I can bet that Windows ME was offering the most higher operating system speed ever. I think that performance of these two products cannot even compare. |

| Hi. You are 100% alright, regarding performance if you ask me. But windows 2000 isn’t build to make some performance improvements, but to offer plenty other server based services that were not included inside the older versions of windows. I think that Windows 2000 is much, much better than any other windows before. It is true that it needs some more time to boot, but hey, only few seconds are there to make difference. Nothing particular. |
