Hello! I am user of Win 2K and I have a question for you. Now, when I start-up the computer it feels like a whole decade has to pass for my PC to get going. I mean it takes about 30 secs or soI want to know is that some problem and should I use some software to speed up my booting (if there is such software???). I am running not so much applications but I have few demanding ones (Norton Antivirus, Adobe Premier, Adobe Photoshop). Any help would come handy!

| Hi there! What brought to my attention is that anti virus which you have. The fact is that it can slower up your PC to the point of freezing. I think you should check its preferences. See to find some other software like Nod32 or AVG. Now, if that is too slow for you I have to encourage you and Im a XP user, my computer needs the same time for rebooting and maybe more sometimes!? What I could like to suggest is that you try to find some tweaking tool! Try to find it on the net. Fresh Devices has shown to be pretty good tweaking tool. There you can find all sorts of settings even setting for your booting time. Best of all is that this tool is free! I think this could resolve your long waiting. |
