I have had WinRAR for a long time and it has mostly been working well. However, yesterday I tried to extract some files, but I simply could not. I tried several times, and got the same message, something about archive broken down. If anyone could tell me if the program is the problem, or something else, that would be great. Thanks in advance.

WinRAR is pretty good and dependable program, as you have seen. I would not point a finger at it as a cause of the fault. Rather, it is a problem with the archive you are trying to extract. Sometimes you might download something that was not correctly packed, or is empty of files. In that case, WinRAR will not be able to do anything with it, and you will simply have to find the same thing you were trying to extract on some other place. I think you will find this advice helpful. Best of luck.
