I have an LCD 17 monitor and nVidia FX5200 video card. My current resolution is 1280x1024. I use XP (if that is relevant). Ok. I want to buy widescreen LCD 20.1 and I want to know would I be possible to set 2048x1536 resolution. I mean, does my video card support this resolution. If you know, answer me, please.

I think that you wont have problems with your video card, because it is stronger one. Anyway, when you buy widescreen lcd you can easily check if am I right. You only need to display properties and widescreen resolution will show up (you can check this with current monitor, too).
