I have changed my old hard disk and put new one in my computer. My operating system recognizes it, but I have a problem with bios. My bios recognized it to, but it can not see its full size. Just to tell you that I have bought Maxtor 40 GB capacity hard disk (maybe manufacturer is connected with this problem). What I should do?

Hello! I have to tell you that there is no relationship between your hard disks manufacturer and your bios. You have to enable auto detect and select LAB in your bios. On the Maxtor hard disk, also, play jumper settings (master and alternative capacity). When you done all which I said it to do, then you will see that bios recognize Maxtor hard disk full size.
