I mean it, what's so damn great about it that just about everyone on the net is talking about it? What does it have that others don't? Tabbed browsing? Opera had that first, and even Internet Explorer will in its next incarnation. Security and functionality? It's almost as full of holes as IE5 was, and don't even mention JavaScript. Seriously, what is it – in your opinion – that makes it the ultimate expression of divine browser perfection?

While I don't like your obviously sarcastic tone, I will agree that Firefox is somewhat over-hyped. That is not to be blamed on the fine people of mozilla.org, however, but on the immature response of the "global community" which constantly craves something to praise. No one (competent) said that Firefox was perfect, but it's an ongoing, constantly improving process that learns on others' mistakes. Firefox isn't the ultimate browser, but it is, at the present and for most people, the best option there is.
