Hello! I still have not firewall installed on my system (XP OS), but I have heard that firewall is the most effective and important first step in protection. Is that true? Please, if this is true, tell me why is that? Also, can you recommend me some nice firewall if I must have it? I am thanking you in advance!

Hello! It is true that firewall is very important and it really is the most effective and important first step in protection. Firewall closes open ports on your system and makes them stealth. Open ports protects. So, it stops some mean person to access to your system through open ports. I recommend you to install Zone Alarm Pro. That is very reliable firewall.
