Hey there! I decided to try and hook my old PS2 to my new plasma TV I bought a few days ago but it doesn’t work for some reason. The sound is OK but the screen is just black. Does anybody know why? Is it possible that you cannot play PS2 on plasma TV? Thanks in advance, I’d really like to make this work.

First, you will need the RCA cable. When you plug it in both PS2 and your TV, you need to press the triangle button on your PS2. It should change the output from RCA to component. And in the end you should reset it and it should work. But I have to warn you that you might not be that impressed. When it comes to playing games LCD screens are much better as far as I’m concerned.
