I am a freshman in using of computers. My parents both me one last month. I finished a couple of courses about using computers and some of them were for experienced users. I got interested in that matter and now I think need some reliable FTP software for my home computer. Should I use transferring files between computers via FTP or something else? Which are Basic FTP clients?

You should use transferring files via FTP because it is safer and faster then other methods. Your FTP server probably disconnects you because you want to download some password-protected data. I could recommend you not just one but many different softwares from FTP category. The main thing is which software would be most appropriate for you and for your needs. Nobody else could tell you that. My advise would be to attempt to try out as much different softwares as you could before you make a decision what software will you buy for yourself. You could do that either by using trial versions or finding people who bought some kind of those softwares. I use plain old Download accelerator as FTP client. You must already have some basic FTP client on your computer like Windows built-in FTP client or Windows commander.
