I heard I have to have a firewall to stop viruses and trojans, but I don't know of any good ones. Are there some for download, as free trials and time-limited? Are there some that aren't share-ware but totally free? Are they any good? Which would you guys recommend? Thanks,

Wise choice, I know a lot of people still rely on their Windows firewalls. I'm not sure if they're freeware or just shareware these days, but two that you should definitely try are Zone Alarm (preferably Pro) and Outpost (again, Pro). Just google them out, then download and install. They should be easy to configure, but go ahead and ask if you need any help.
