I have bought a new TFT 19-inch monitor and I’m ecstatic about it. It is still my obsession to customize and adjust it. I’m wondering what resolution you have on your screen, so that I can set the appropriate on my monitor. I think that my last monitor was set to 800 x 600 and it was ok.

Oh, it all depends. It’s not like everybody should adjust the resolution as he wishes. It all depends on the type of the monitor and then CRT monitors have one set of resolutions while TFT monitors have another and all that for the same screen size. For example, I have a 17-inch CRT monitor and my resolution is 1024 x 768. And my friend has a laptop with 17-inch screen and she selected a higher resolution because it is a LCD screen. So, I think that you should read the booklets that came together with your monitor and see what the manufacturer suggested for best results. They probably suggested the resolution which would best fit for the screen of that model.
