If someone told me, I wouldn’t believe at all. Unix, Linux, Windows, Ultrix, Solaris and now AIX. I thought that I knew at least this. But, it seems that knowledge doesn’t have any limits. What kind of operating system this is, and can I use it on my own PC? Just like when some new movie appears, this is how I feel, yes.

Heh. You can use it on your own PC hardware but it’s functionality will depend on your Unix skill. This is an IBM version of Unix operating system, and the targeted platforms are desktop and server environments. Has support for multimedia, but I can’t tell how much for sure. Skilled programmers do have some benefit with I guess.
