| Can you tell me what good Functional Programming Language is? Does this mean that there are some programming languages that are not functional or what? I’m trying to learn some things about programming because I’d like to see how complicated that is. There are many programming jobs on the market and since I’m unemployed I’m thinking about starting learning programming. |

| Oh, give me a break! I realize that you’re unemployed and I’m really sorry about that. But what makes you think that you can be qualified for programming after a couple of moths of taking courses at a local college? Programming is a very complex and it takes years before you’re a good programmer. People are going to college for programming and they spend many years learning programming and you just want it to be quick. Functional programming languages are not the commercial ones. They’re actually just academic languages but I have heard that Microsoft is trying to integrate them into mainstream programming. Those languages are based on maths formulas and functions. That’s how they got their name. |
