Hi! Zone Alarm just informed me that something called xhrmy.exe is trying to access the Internet. I didn’t allow it to and when I pressed ctrl+alt+del I found it under ‘processes’ tab and turned it off. But it appeared again in just a second! What is it and should I allow it to access internet? So far I haven’t noticed any changes on my system – could it be that it’s something harmless?

If you don’t want adware on your system you should remove it because that’s what it is. Since you didn’t allow it to access the internet you couldn’t notice any changes on your system until now. But if you do it, you’ll start getting tons of commercials you weren’t asking for directly on your desktop in a minute. If you don’t have them already, download and install either SpyBot or Ad-Aware, or maybe even both because sometimes one of them misses something and other finds it. Or if you like commercials, just click ‘allow’ and enjoy!
