What is Wild Tangent Control Panel?

I have a new icon in my Control Panel that is named Wild Tangent. I don’t remember of installing any program or device of such name. What could this be? It is a very strange thing that icon appear, just like that. Is this some kind of virus or spy?

You got this one by playing a game online or installing some game that Wild Tangent Company manufactures. It is a kind of driver to enable playing games online (you might have played some via web) and they use this to collect some information about you, mostly related to playing their games. They claim this not to be spyware (just sending them how\when do you play), but there is no doubt that this collect information about your behavior and habits without your knowledge.
