I got a new computer last month. They also installed me an ADSL connection. A friend installed me software for movie downloading. He told me that it is great for downloading movies from the net. Everything worked great until yesterday. Now, whenever I connect to Internet my connection is either slow or I cannot make connection at all. A friend told me that I might have a Hacktool virus. What is that?

From your story, I am definitely certain that you have some sort of virus on your computer. It is probably a Hacktool virus. That type of virus is designed to aloud access to protected content on your computer to his owners. I think that you have some Torrent software for movie downloading and that is the common problem for all users of Torrents. I had to reinstall my computer few times because of torrent using and viruses. However, at last I found out what is a cure for that. The cure is combination of AVG and Seagate firewall. For start, use AVG from the Safe mode of your Windows to clean your computer. After that, install Seagate and I think that will solve your problem.
