| What do you think about download accelerators, are they worth trying? I am kind of new to the world of internet technologies. As a matter of fact, i amde my first dial up connection few days ago. Now, i wanted to download a few things, and it was disconnecting all the time. And the downlaod was so god damn slow. Shall I try one of them? |

| I used to use Download accelerator plus, few years ago, while I was still using dial up. It was accelerating downloads a bit, really, and what was even better, it aupported resume option, so the file would not get lost if you got disconnected. So, if you plan to continue using dial up, that program would do you good, but I guess there are many other similar programs. But, if you have techical requirements, switch to cable or dsl, it is so faster and so better that you will never regret it. And it is usually not expensive, no matter where you live.Dial up is a complete disaster, you know. |
