| Oh, I guess Hi! You know there is a reason why I have been greeting you this way, my PC is full of viruses I even lost some files .i have no idea and I stopped counting how many changes I made in security area-changing and switching AV and firewall programs. And actually got sick of it, cause everyone has some favorite combination and keeping the side of that one , but then when I try it something always goes wrong . So what AV software do I really need? |

| Hello! Must say I completely feel for you and I belong to your group of people. Loads of changes and never quite satisfied. I don’t think that is our problem , like that we are making some wrong choices here. It is more the matter of malwares that are evolving and finding the ways to attack your computer much faster then before. Or should I blame the hackers trying to find the way to crash into some program cause that is always a challenge for them even though that means that they are mostly doing the damage to the ordinary man with those acts. I stopped counting how many AV programs I changed so far, and just like you heard many opposite opinions in the matter which one is the best, just like you. Some people sticking with Kaspersky that was booed by many others, including me even though must admit had the highest number in virus recognizing AV that I used competition. Must admit kicked them the most (viruses, spams. trojans etc), but on the other hand very often frizzed my system . Then I used AVG which is hacked at the end of the last year, don’t know if it is just a rumor, but still that fact makes me uncomfortable having it. Many people use NOD32, not that bad , but some things that I found with Norton Symantec AntiVirus. it never registered. Norton products are also discussable one but it is good for filtering spams. People in most cases advise could call those triple A: AVG, AviraAntiVir and AVAST! as the best of the free to download ( not paying for them )ones. Zone Alarm “spam filter “works apparently fine, and people praise MacAfee, Norton, Kaspersky, Zone Alarm, Panda AV Platinum for different reasons. In general ,AV choice depends on compatibility with your system and firewall you use matter, and what is the current state of that program- meaning is it vulnerable at the moment, got hacked and things like that. I say very often unless you aren’t some hacker, you will never be completely safe, like comment I got from one one foreigner :”It’s never enough protection programs to have on your computer these days!” |
