I am not some kind of experienced user when speaking of Linux world. My whole interaction with the above mentioned operating system isnt quite too long. Much more experience I have with the Windows Operating systems. I have picked up, and tried few distributions for which I can say that really are worth of something. I just need to hear other peoples thinking about their favorites. Thanks in advance.

Hello. I am something similar to you. I always wanted to use both of the platforms, but I never had nerves to play with the Unix commands and so on. So, I also prefer Windows XP environment. The most usable and the most fully completed are Debian, Red Hat or Fedora Core, Slackware, SuSe, Mandrake or Mandriva now and Maybe Knoppix or Gentoo. And the one that was the most best for me was Vector Linux SOHO, Slackware based distribution. Canadian product. I suggest you to try that.
